Hello, I am Psychologist Demet Yukselen, after graduating from Üsküdar Mehmet Rauf High School in 2006, I completed my university education in 2012 as an Honor student at Istanbul Arel University, Department of Psychology. During my university education, I attended trainings in the field of Psychotic Disorders, Developmental Tests and Industrial Tests. Between 2011 and 2012, I took active roles in Balıklı Rum Hospital Psychiatry Clinic and Tohum Autism Foundation. While continuing my undergraduate education, I participated in a field study on “The increase in the aggressiveness of adolescents by violent images in the media”. Between 2012 and 2014, I conducted interviews and information seminars with children with clinical problems and their families at the Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, and I worked with families. 

Between 2013 and 2014, I continued practical group and individual education studies in education classes for children with autism. Between 2014 and 2016, I attended the Wisc-r Intelligence Test, Denver ll Developmental Test, Agte, Metropolitan School Readiness, Bender-Gestalt and Frostig tests application and reporting training conducted under the supervision of Dr. Psychologist Selen Ayas. In 2012 and 2016, I worked as a therapist and Responsible Manager at the Special Education and Rehabilitation Center and as a therapist at the Spiritual Care Center. In 2014-2016, I worked with middle-aged and older patients diagnosed with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Sexual Disorders and Psychotic Disorders, by conducting Individual Therapy, Sports-Motivation Studies, Music Therapy, Ergo Therapy and Group Therapies effectively and efficiently. In 2018, I received play therapy training and supervision. I am continuing my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy training at the Association For Psychological Therapies Center in England in 2021. I also have been providing face-to-face and online therapy services by establishing the DY Counselling center in 2020.

 

 

 

 

Merhaba, ben Psikolog Demet Yukselen 2006 yılında Üsküdar Mehmet Rauf Lisesi’ nden mezun olduktan sonra Üniversite eğitimimi 2012 yılında İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi Psikoloji Bölümünde Onur öğrencisi olarak tamamladım. Üniversite eğitimi süresince Psikotik bozukluklar, Gelişim Testleri ve Endüstriyel testler alanında eğitimlere katıldım. 2011-2012 yılları arasında Balıklı Rum Hastanesi Psikiyatri Kliniği ve Tohum Otizm Vakfında aktif olarak görevler aldım. Lisans eğitimim devam ederken “Medya da yer alan şiddet içerikli görüntülerin ergenlerin saldırganlık eğilimini arttırması” üzerine saha çalışmasına katıldım. 2012-2014 yılları arasında Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezinde klinik sorun tespit edilmiş çocuklar ve aileleri ile görüşme, bilgilendirme seminerleri yaptım ve aileler ile birlikte çalışmalar yürüttüm. 2013-2014 yılları arasında Otizmli çocuklar eğitim sınıflarında uygulamalı grup ve bireysel eğitim çalışmalarını sürdürdüm. 2014-2016 yılları arasında Dr. Psikolog Selen Ayas göZetiminde yapılan Wisc-r Zeka Testi, Denver ll Gelişim Testi, Agte, Metropolitan Okul Olgunluğu, Bender-Gestalt ve Frostig testleri uygulama ve raporlama eğitimine katıldım. 2012-2016 yılları arasında Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezinde terapist ve Sorumlu Müdür aynı zamanda Ruhsal Bakım Merkezinde terapist olarak çalıştım. 2014-2016 yıllarında Duygu Durum Bozuklukları, Anxiyete Bozuklukları, Cinsel Bozukluklar ve Psikotik Bozukluk tanısı almış orta yaş ve üzeri hastalar ile Bireysel Terapi, Spor- Motivasyon çalışmaları, Müzik terapi, Ergo Terapi ve Grup Terapilerin etkin ve verimli bir şekilde yürüterek çalışmalar yaptım. 2018 yılında Oyun terapisi eğitim ve süpervizyon aldım. 2021 yılı İngiltete de Association For Psychological Therapies merkezinde Cognitive Behavioural Therapy eğitimini sürdürmekteyim.  2020 yılında DY Counselling danışmadık merkezini kurarak yüzyüze ve online terapi hizmeti vermekteyim.
